Originally a simple country Inn where weary travelers venturing over three treacherous mountain paths from Granville, Lincoln and Roxbury would rest. The Inn evolved over the decades, by providing hearty meals, welcoming guests that chose the village of Warren as a quaint and quiet vacation spot and eventually becoming the luxury Inn that it is today. Time, however, has been kind in preserving the

Inn's original hospitality and grace. Today's Pitcher Inn epitomizes Vermont's charms with each room representing selected aspects of the state; its history, character, surroundings, sport and social structure intertwined with the comforts expected by discerning travelers.
