We have a heated swimming pool, camp store, arcade, playgrounds, nature trail, and a beach on the scenic Schroon River. The river is great for fishing, tubing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. Lake George Village and Six Flags Great Escape/Splash Water Kingdom is only minutes away. There are hundreds of events scheduled in the Lake George area each year and our campground is a short drive to all the action. Other attractions include Stone Caverns 20 minutes away, Lake Placid about 90 minutes away, and historic Fort Ticonderoga 60 minutes away. This area of the ADK Park has so much to offer. Adirondack camping at Warrensburg Travel Park & Riverfront Campground is a welcome retreat.......nestled among the pine trees (100 year old plus pine trees throughout) with 1 mile of riverfront on the sandy banks of the beautiful Schroon River. Don't let today's rain stop you from making weekend reservations at our campground. We'll have three bands this weekend- all under a large tent- Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 8pm.

On Saturday we have tons of activities to do, and on Sunday we're hosting our popular campground picnic and BBQ at 5pm.

Here's the activities schedule for today at Warrensburg Travel Park.

We're doing crafts, slipping on a waterslide, giggling and balloon twisting with Balloon Gal Jenny, VR-Room is located next to the dog park, Phil Singer may do your caricature.

4pm - Gather under the tent in costume for piñata smashing, pictures and trick or treating.

Ramble on a wagon ride, dunk your dad in the dunk tank, get lucky at Bingo, 8pm is the band Dirt Cheap and an all ages Halloween costume contest.

Order nachos, tacos, fries, deep fried cookies and more at the food truck.

It's going to be a wicked good day!

Happy Campers' Halloween is this weekend at Warrensburg Travel Park. We're doing all the usual awesome things, plus we're trick-or-treating around the campground and we'll do a costume contest at the band, Dirt Cheap, on Saturday night.

This is a fun, not too scary, event for our campers.

Thank you to our top-notch team of Halloween decorators who helped sort, inflate, untangle, assemble and hang our frightening clowns, giant spiders, creepy ghosts, and arrange the grizzly graveyard and the pumpkin patch.

The wrecking crew included Peter - who loves all things spooky, Frank & Marcy and the girls, Deb & Bob, Linda & her brother and sister-in-law, Cricket and her grandson, and Erin and her son.

Halloween weekend is August 28 & 29 for our campers. Bring your costumes, decorate your sites, go trick or treating and bring some candy to hand out. Happy camping!
