Doc's Harbor Inn Doc's Harbor Inn was the residential home of beloved veterinarian Doc Hughes. Trish & Neal Gjerevik are current owners. Skates, snowshoes, and xc skis for rent.

Sisters Janet, Randi and Robin Marvin reimagined it as a historical lodging option adding an Olympic sized rink & watercraft rentals. Victorian home built on the banks of the Warroad River. 4 private bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living and dining rooms. Porch on river side, patio, large parking lot, and dock space. Winter fun on the River Rink and Riverbend Skate Path. Summer fun on the river with rentals of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and paddle boats.

Little update on Doc’s renovation. Hoping to start priming the sheetrock and the finish coat of paint in preparation for kitchen cabinets which means measuring countertops and exciting things. The front porch is getting steps and railing. Hope to see the roofing crew soon. The second level windows will be here soon. We can see there is a finish line to this journey. I believe I’ll not forget these last months in Warroad MN all the days of my life🥰
They have been good to me and for me. So I want to thank Warroad and its people for their kindness.😊

The covered porch is on deck now! Demo is done and on to the block repair on the house foundation, pouring sauna tubes for foundational support, then deck joists, deck boards, new steps off the front vs sides and finally the new railing.

Then we can paint it! Do you know why covered porch roofs are painted blue? Blue reminds birds of the sky so they won’t make nests there. I learned this yesterday from the wise flooring sales woman at Lund’s.

The Sheetrock hanging is complete. Next comes the tape and mud.
