Mayor Bowser announced that Washington, DC could initiate Stage 1 of reopening as early as Friday, May 29, barring a spike in cases. Under this plan, mass gatherings greater than 10 people are still banned, but limited low-risk activities with strong safeguards in place are allowed. The Mayor is reviewing all of the guidelines released yesterday and will be sharing a Mayor’s Order with opening requirements by stage. [ 249 more words ]
