HighRoad is searching for fun, dynamic, and motivated people to join our amazing team as live-work volunteers. Work in a unique and fun environment in exchange for housing in the bustling Adams Morgan neighborhood in NW Washington, DC. We are currently looking for team members who can onboard no later than mid July.

What’s a live-work volunteer or Residential Advisor?
Live-work volunteers, or what we like to call Residential Advisors, volunteer a minimum amount of hours per week in exchange for housing. We require all RAs to volunteer at least 20 hours in exchange for accommodation in our awesome shared rooms.

The Resident Advisor will be responsible for providing service to HighRoad guests as well as assisting with housekeeping duties. Some RA daily responsibilities include:
Working the front desk (checking guests in and out, answering phone calls and emails, handling guest issues as they arise, and more). Front desk shifts include 8 AM - 12 PM, 3 PM - 7 PM and on call overnight shift.
Housekeeping duties (assisting with flipping beds and getting rooms ready for new arrivals, washing linens, and other light cleaning tasks)

Requirements
Live on-site in a shared dorm room
Commit to live/volunteer onsite for 4 months minimum
Volunteer at least 24 hours per week
Be able to work at least one overnight oncall shift (11 PM - 7 AM) per week
Legal permission to work in the United States
Must be fully vaccinated
