Dear Friends! We have missed you this past 14 1/2 months. We are so glad the world is coming to life again and all of our favorite people are making travel plans. As most of you know, Embassy Circle will not re-open as a B&B. But the GOOD NEWS is that our Woodley Park Guest House re-opens TOMORROW, May 24, 2021. We've spent the last year making some wonderful updates. We now have fewer rooms - and every room has a private bath. We have a wonderful new living room and - OH MY! - the artwork is beautiful! Today in the United States, we celebrate President's Day. When you're in DC, be sure to take time to tour the stately presidential memorials and buildings - especially our favorite, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.

The 7 ½ acre memorial celebrates FDR’s 12 years and 4 terms as President of the United States. Each term is represented by an outdoor “room”, featuring, beautiful sculptures and bas reliefs. As with all the memorials, the words engraved in stone are powerful and as relevant today as they were in the Depression or during World War II.
