We’ve received a lot of questions regarding the venue for today’s event. The Waterford is open! Google has not been updated and it says it’s permanently closed, but be assured it’s open and we are good to go!

We hate to even have to make this post, but it’s always best to be safe than sorry. Several posts have been made over the last hour with people selling tickets to our event. While we understand plans change and want to see tickets being used, there has unfortunately been an incident with a member of another market council group where they got scammed purchasing tickets this way. If you see a post and want to verify that the person advertising actually has tickets purchased through the DC Market Council, please message us. If you purchase tickets outside of our Eventbrite system, please know you are doing so at your own risk and DC Market Council is not responsible if the sale is not legitimate.
