Genuine hospitality meets elegance.
Hospitality is defined as “friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.” Klaus ensures that everyone starts as a guest and departs as a friend. The inn itself is well appointed and the minute you step inside you feel as if you have come home and you can rest your weary bones. The bucolic and sweeping views of the scenic countryside do not disappoint, while still within walking distance of Main Street attractions and dining for those wanting to enjoy the famous Michelin restaurant nearby. However, save room for breakfast at the inn. Chef Ken makes his own maple, sage and rosemary herb sausage, spiced bacon, and egg stuffed crepes to delight! From the start of your day that begins with the specially blended coffee or tea, then a delicious breakfast that is hearty and gastronomical treat. Ken takes great pride in his cooking and soon you too will be a member of the “clean plate club”. After a day out exploring, come back to your lovely, appointed room and sit on the couples couch reading by the fireplace. Truly relaxing! Then, before you retire for the evening, enjoy the multi-spigot shower that massages you from all sides. Truly an exceptional way to end your day! Climb into the soft, comfortable bed and soon you will be drifting off and dreaming…knowing that you will be fortunate to awaken to another wonderful gourmet breakfast and fascinating conversation with Klaus. Did you know that he crossed paths with former presidents when he managed other bespoke hotels? His impeccable and genuine hospitality makes you feel as if you are the most important person in the room, while also making you feel like an old friend who has come to visit. Klaus will make suggestions based on your interests of places to explore from whiskey tastings, coffee roasters, and nearby nature attractions~ they all were wonderful places to experience, so make sure you ask. Finally, when it is time to depart, you already know that you want to come back again soon.
