For visitors to the river cottage, we highly recommend taking a sunset cruise with Captain Paul and Tom on the Schooner Jeanie B. It's relaxing and informative. On my recent trip from Bath to Washington, I saw the land where Blackbeard and Governor Eden lived, while first mate Tom shared some of the tales and legends that suggest political corruption is nothing new!
Despite a little drizzle, our party had a great time. We packed adult beverages, chicken salad and steamed shrimp with Old Bay seasoning. If you're a guest at the Pamlico Social Club, consider an adventure on the Jeanie B. It's sure to make your visit more memorable!
