We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Rental Counter Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role in assisting customers with lawn mower sales, parts sales, and equipment rentals. The ideal candidate has strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service
• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Recommend and sell new and used lawn mowers, small engines, and outdoor power equipment based on customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, financing options, and product features.
• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to all customers.
Parts Sales
• Identify and source the correct parts for customers and the service department.
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Maintain organized parts displays and assist with inventory management.
• Use manufacturer parts look-up systems and catalogs.
Equipment Rentals
• Handle all aspects of the rental counter, including contracts, reservations, check-in/out, and billing.
• Explain proper equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures to customers.
• Inspect and document equipment condition before and after rentals.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure equipment is ready and maintained.
Administrative & Operational Duties
• Operate POS and rental software systems for transactions and recordkeeping.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized showroom and rental yard areas.
• Support inventory control through cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Occasionally assist with loading/unloading equipment and basic maintenance checks.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail sales, equipment rental, or parts sales preferred.
• Knowledge of lawn and garden equipment, small engines, or similar mechanical products is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment and work independently.
• Basic computer proficiency (POS, rental, or inventory systems).
• Valid driver’s license (required); ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment:
