It is with mixed emotions that we announce our closing and retirement. We will miss all the wonderful friends we've met but we are looking forward to retiring in Central Oregon.

We have so many wonderful memories of building this place and then sharing it with friends and family. Skamania County has placed restrictions on what we can offer here, and we need to move on....

It is Eagle season at Angels Rest B&B. This morning we have seen more than a dozen eagles fly by over the river and at least three sitting in the trees outside our house.

Been down to the river the past two days. Anna Rose and Wyatt are in their happy place. So quite and peaceful even with two dogs by your side.

Spent a relaxing morning in our hot tub over looking the Washougal River. The morning had a slight rainfall that almost looks like snow when it is coming down.
While in the hot tub we were able to view some of our backyard friends. We saw several Male and Female Black-headed Grosbeak, Steller's Jay, Robins, Black crows, and of course our Chickens and one Rooster.
Come visit and you will be able to enjoy this special time.

Beginnings...

Fall of 2019 we started construction of our new B&B home. We choose plans and made some modifications then purchased plans and materials from Pan Abode Cedar Homes. Since then, we have been building the house ourselves with the help of friends, neighbors and family. This weekend we had our first wedding here... and it was our daughters wedding! It was a small Covid-19 restricted wedding, but it was beautiful!

Now we get back to work on flooring, railings and trim...
