Breakfast 8am-11am Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm Sat & Sun. Pub w/ light bites open 11am-1pm M-F, 4pm-9pm M-Sa. Once a stagecoach stop, now a beautifully restored village inn and pub in downtown Waterbury, known for outdoor recreation and a fabulous food and craft beer scene. Many restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Minutes from skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddling, fly fishing and more. Ex

Each room is unique - choose a room in the main building for more historic decor, or opt for one of our more contemporary suites which offer small kitchens and seating areas. Summer in Waterbury has its own quiet rhythm. The mornings are cool and unhurried, the hills are deep green, and the best days tend to involve good food, a little wandering, and no particular agenda.

This month we are sharing two of our favorite ways to make the most of it, including a guide to the best picnic spots near Waterbury and Stowe, and a look at the working farms just up the road that remind you why Vermont feels like nowhere else.
