Campers‼️

Please do not put dirty toilet paper in the floor.
There are garbage cans in both restrooms.
If the garbage can gets full, call or text me and I’ll gladly empty it. I clean and restock the bathrooms weekly but i do not use them daily so if there’s a problem you have to let me know.

I went down to set up a camper so I cleaned the bathhouse while I waited on them to arrive. Both the men and women’s restrooms had dirty toilet paper in the floor beside the toilets. By the time the campers got there I was sweating buckets and too hot to mop the floors or scrub the walls so I’ll have to go back and do that tomorrow.

This is unacceptable and just plain nasty. There is no bathroom fairy that cleans up behind you.
It’s just me! Please do better people! These are your restrooms, if you want them to stay nice, clean up after yourself.

‼️Also please do not remove the remote controls for the fans and if you know where the ones for the men’s restroom went, please let me know. The fans will not turn on without the remote controls.

🚤 ALEA Launches Holiday Crackdown on Impaired Boating Across Alabama

With heavy boat traffic expected over the Independence Day weekend, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is joining the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for Operation Dry Water, a nationwide campaign targeting impaired boating and other dangerous behavior on the water.

ALEA says every Marine Patrol trooper will be on patrol throughout the holiday weekend, with a zero-tolerance approach to boating under the influence.

"This is expected to be the busiest boating holiday of the year in Alabama," said ALEA Director of Public Safety Jonathan Archer. "If you plan to drink alcohol, designate a sober boat operator before leaving the dock."

During last year's July 4 holiday weekend, ALEA arrested eight people for boating under the influence. However, officials say the most common violations involved safety and equipment issues, including:

• Unregistered vessels
• Operating without the required boating license
• Not carrying enough life jackets
• Improper navigation lights
• Careless operation
• Failure to use an emergency engine cutoff switch

Authorities are also reminding travelers to stay safe on Alabama roadways. ALEA responded to 12 fatal traffic crashes during last year's Independence Day holiday period.

According to AAA, 72.2 million Americans are expected to travel during the holiday week, including 61.4 million by car.

If you're heading to the lake or river this weekend, officials urge everyone to wear a life jacket, follow boating laws, and never operate a boat while impaired.
