Yesterday, some of our managers attended WACO's 2026 Fall Tours and Workshop! We visited 6 campgrounds and had an opportunity to network and learn how others are doing things. It was an incredibly useful experience! Today, River Bend hosted a tour and lunch as the conclusion of the fall session. We are SO proud of our team! Gregg stayed behind yesterday to ensure everything was perfect today, our lunch was delicious, he had plenty of staff ready to go and he was our tour guide, passing along his love for this park and all that knowledge! Thank you so much Gregg! John had the grounds looking immaculate, his team had all the golf carts power washed, gassed up and at the office building ready for people to use for the tour. Jim drove the wagon and did an amazing job, Fred removed the speed bumps for a smooth ride, Kris had her camp store ready to show off! The entire River Bend team stepped up, and it was a great day for everyone that came! What became exceedingly clear to us this week is that we have THE BEST team and we work in a beautiful place. We are looking forward to our last 2 weekends open and we are pumped to plan a terrific 2027 season for you all!
