Rated the "Most Unique Campsite in N.W. Ohio and S.E. Michigan" by Hipcamp.com, "Camp Peace" consists of a small riverfront cabin and a VW Bus Camper located just 2 1/2 miles west of Waterville. Both the cabin and camper have excellent heat and a/c and sleep two in each. (Futon sofa bed in the cabin and an air mattress in the VW bus.) The cabin features a kitchenette with a stove, oven, hot and cold water sink, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. There is a 4 chair table and a small TV with great cable and wifi. The bathroom has a marine toilet and a full shower. There are complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and electric motorized fishing boats to use to navigate the 8 beautiful islands directly across from your cabin. "Camp Peace" which is pet-friendly, also has complimentary bicycles of every size to use on the wooded 10-mile hiking and biking trail that abuts our property and winds along the river from Waterville to Grand Rapids. Linens, towels, washcloths, cookware, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, soap, conditioner, and everything else you'll need is included, even wood for your first campfire. (You'll need to bring your own food, beverage, charcoal, and extra firewood.) Our rates for October through March are $115 plus tax per night. (There are no additional cleaning or pets fees.)
