Did you know that a Migratory Bird Certificate is required in addition to the small game license to hunt migratory birds and waterfowl in South Dakota?

If you're hunting migratory birds this season, make sure to add the migratory bird certificate to your active resident small game license or your nonresident waterfowl license!

Any time you hunt, please be mindful that Walk-In Areas, CHAPs, and private lands are working farms and ranches! You can show gratitude and respect for everyone in a few simple ways:

• Avoid parking on approaches that block access to pastures and fields that farmers and ranchers need to get to.
• If you open a gate, close the gate behind you.
• Pick up any trash you see, whether it is yours or not.

Be respectful, stay safe, and make new memories!
