🎃 Spooktacular Halloween Theme Weekend is Coming Saturday! 👻
​Get your costumes ready, campers! We’ve got a fun-filled, spooky weekend planned for the whole family—and we need YOUR help to make it unforgettable!
​🗓️ Weekend Highlights:
​3:00 PM – Costume Parade: Meet us in costume to kick off the festivities!
​Right After the Parade – Campsite Trick-or-Treating: The kids will head straight from the parade to trick-or-treat around the campsites! (Campers: don't forget to stock up on treats!) 🍬🍫
​Dusk – Haunted Trail: (Weather permitting) Walk the trail... if you dare! 🌲👀
​👻 Calling All Seasonal Campers: We Need Volunteers!
​A great Haunted Trail needs great ghosts, ghouls, and monsters! We are looking for seasonal campers who love Halloween to help scare (and entertain!) the kids along the trail.

• ​Get Spotted: If we catch you wearing any Elk Horn gear around the campground, the beach, or the lodge this weekend, we’re handing you a raffle ticket on the spot.
• ​The Vintage Bonus: Digging up a truly vintage Elk Horn shirt from years back? That’s worth double the tickets!
• ​The Prize: We’ll be drawing a winner at our main community gathering to win gift certificates for our brand-new, custom gear at the lodge!

​Get ready for a jam-packed weekend of freedom, fun, and community! We’ve got activities lined up for all ages. Dust off your decorations, prep your golf carts, and come celebrate with us!
​Here is the official schedule of events:
​🗓️ Friday, July 3rd
3:30 PM — Water Balloon Game 🎈💦
Beat the afternoon heat! Come ready to get a little wet and have a blast.​
9:30 PM — Adult
Boozy Music Bingo 🎶🥂
We're putting a spin on regular bingo! We’ll be jamming out to great music hits on the big screen. Come listen to some awesome tunes, hang out with friends, and play for a chance to win some booze!
​🗓️ Saturday, July 4th
​11:00 AM — Annual 4th of July Golf Cart Parade 🏎️✨
Time to get wild with your wheels! We aren't just looking for red, white, and blue this year—get creative! Turn your cart into a pirate ship, a tropical jungle, a retro time machine, or whatever your imagination cooks up. Let's see those epic designs!
1:00 PM -- Boat Parade, starting on the north side of the lake. Get creative and deck out your pontoons and boats with your best festive decorations to join the floating parade at 12:30.
2:30 PM — Candy Bar Bingo 🍫 A sweet twist on a classic game. Perfect for the kids (and kids at heart)!​
​3:00 PM — Horseshoe Tournament 🧲🏆
Think you've got the best aim? Grab a partner or come solo and see who can claim the title of Horseshoe Champion! Sign up in the lodge.
​6:00 PM — Karaoke & Dancing 🎤💃
Warm up those vocal cords and lace up your dancing shoes! Come belt out your favorite tunes or just dance the evening away.
The celebration doesn't stop when the sun goes down.
​9:00 PM — Night Light-Up Golf Cart Parade. Light up your carts. We’re taking a quick break from the music and dancing for the night parade! Bring those creative cart designs, but this time, light 'em up! Glow sticks, neon LEDs, holiday strings, or flashing lights—make it glow! (Dancing resumes right after!)
​📢 We have an awesome DJ making the trip all the way up from the Cities to keep us dancing! Please let’s treat them right and take great care of them in the tip jar! 💵🎉
