Before and after of the kitchen at Re*****on House.
We took it down to the studs and rebuilt it completely. Cabinets, flooring, walls, all of it, until it was just framing, insulation, and wiring.
We knew we wanted a kitchen made for slow mornings and relaxed dinners, with an open feel and space for two to be cooking at the same time.
With that in mind, we chose sage green shaker cabinets with black hardware to bring the green of the trees inside. We topped them with dark stained butcher block and added a matte black farmhouse sink with a copper pull-down faucet.
We kept the walls soft white and added open shelves with black brackets, so the mugs, bowls, and coffee supplies stay within reach and on display. New flooring runs through the space with a runner to bring that warmth.
Each detail in this kitchen was intentional, and we’re always thinking about how to make it even cozier.
