Deyoungs zoo is 10 minutes from our property, it never disappoints and is a must see !!! It opens May 9th , check out there website for special events . For a great experience at 1:00 is feeding time for the Big cats , but anytime there is special

🐾 There are over 400 animals in an 80-acre zoo down a county road in a Michigan town than most people couldn't find on a map.
Tigers, grizzly bears, wolves, hyenas, camels, lemurs, and a hippo named Wallace.
That's the DeYoung Family Zoo, and it's unlike any zoo you've been to before.
This isn't a polished big-city operation with paved paths and gift shop cafes. It's hands-on, a little rugged, and completely family-run. Visitors bottle-feed baby animals, get face-to-face with big cats, and wander a property that feels more like a wild compound than a traditional exhibit.
