With Memorial Day upon us, we are delighted to anticipate the return of our summer guests. We have thoroughly prepared the house for the upcoming busy summer season. We look forward to the warmer weather and bright sunny days.

We are absolutely delighted to extend a warm welcome to Chelsea in downtown Wautoma; we finally have a brick-and-mortar coffee shop. It is a wonderful establishment to enjoy coffee and a bite to eat. The yogurt, in particular, was truly exceptional. If you are looking for a fun outing with horses, not far from Lakeside Escape is Wild West Campground and Corral.

Horseback trail rides in Central Wisconsin. Rides from 10am to 5pm every day June-August and on the weekends before and after summer months.

We had anticipated the arrival of spring, and indeed, geese and birds began to return to Wisconsin, and the waterways started to thaw. However, we were met with a stark reminder of winter in the form of a significant snowstorm. Fortunately, the snow was short-lived, allowing us to resume our spring activities. We are now looking forward to installing the dock and launching the pontoon.

We at Lakeside Escape extend our warmest wishes for a Happy New Year. It is a perfect day for downhill skiing at Nordic Mountain. They produce their own snow throughout the season, so closures are quite uncommon. We encourage you to book your weekend to experience these wonderful views.

As the days grow colder and snow blankets the ground, we are preparing our residence for the winter and holiday season. And yes, the hot tub operates year-round.
