Owner Elizabeth King is a Wayne State College alumna who purchased her former sorority house.

Rose Cottage loves its’ guests.
Nearly two years ago, Amanda and Gary, along with their son Troy, were in Wayne to visit their son/brother, Tristan, a WSC student.
The most impressive part? This amazing family is from South Africa.

Yesterday, Amanda and Gary were back in the Nebraska to visit their sons, along with their son‘s girlfriends Abby and Addy!

The couple took the time to stop and visit Rose Cottage and enjoy afternoon tea together along with their sons and their girlfriends, all four WSC students.

We’re blessed beyond all measure!

He’s from Wisconsin and came to Wayne for the North American Manure Conference last week.

It was an honor to host him and look forward to his return!

Meet Matt and Kalyn!
The couple were in town visiting family and attending the Wayne County Fair.
Matt is from Australia and also owns an Airbnb as well.

I am over the moon excited because I can add Australia to the list of continents that have visited Rose Cottage.

That means that I have had six out of seven continents stay here and the only one that I’m lacking is Antarctica.
Considering there are no permanent residents who live in that continent, I think it would be safe to say that I have had guests from all continents here in Wayne! 😉

This past weekend Rose Cottage was blessed to have hosted guests that were in Wayne to enjoy the annual Chicken Days celebration.

They included Gary, Gretchen, Jesse, Tracy, Larry and Belle.

Rose Cottage had the privilege this past week to host three hard working men from Serbia; Milos, Darko and Zoran.

How fun to add another country to my list of visitors from European countries which include the Netherlands and Sweden.

Meet John and Maureen!
This wonderful couple are from New Jersey and are the parents of Sean Ahern.
Sean teaches at Wayne State College and is a neighbor.
I was so very glad to see the Aherns again! They were here last year when Sean earned an award for his teaching .
