Burgundy Lane Bed & Breakfast We are a small town, locally owned and operated Bed & Breakfast where our guests can feel that they are in a friendly, homelike environment. Come see!

Nestled in historic Waynesboro, PA, Burgundy Lane Bed & Breakfast was built in 1887 and an addition was added in 1910. The inn was home and office to Dr. James Burns Amberson and his family until 1990. In 2004, it was renovated to its current charm and grace.

Well it's finally done! My home in PA (formerly known as Burgundy Lane Bed and Breakfast) has been sold. One last load of household belongings, and we will be full time Tennesseans. Thanks to everyone that stayed at our B&B over the past 18 years.

Well it finally got real. Burgundy Lane Bed & Breakfast is considered a non-essential business and will have to close or face some pretty serious penalties. It is possible that we will never re-open, but we'll have had the honor and privilege of serving guests from all over the world for about 19 years. This past weekend was the Schmelzer families' celebration of Christmas and all the December birthdays! My Dad & Mom turned 90 and 87, respectively; and Luke will be 7 on Christmas Eve. The Matters (daughter's family) and all the Schmelzers had a great time and wish everybody good health and proserity during the Christmas season!
