Another 5-star review.

Angie is a pleasure to rent from. She replies, even to my silly questions. She is not a distant manager- so she knows her place well. The cabin is as the photos show. We arrive fairly late on a rainy night. Her signs to Charley's Cabin led us right to it. The cabin was very clean, beddings, dishes, glasses, etc. We moved right in for our stay. We would highly recommend it as a place to get away from the rest of the world-, though it is only maybe a 15 minute drive to Waynesville which has supermarkets, lots of local restaurants etc. Of course the National park is nearby as is the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This is your friendly reminder that for best results when storing apples they need to be kept at around a constant 35 degrees, ESPECIALLY HONEYCRISP.

Countertops, basements, cellars, porches, etc are not cool enough and the apples will breakdown faster. Honeycrisp are especially high in sugar and they breakdown very quickly if leftout. Leaving the apples looking spotted and bruised.

I'm sure some people will argue with me on this but trust us, we do this for a living and it's been proved by people a lot smarter than I am. 😉
