Swipe for before and after photos!! I still love looking back at the photos of this house when we first bought it! There is a striking contrast in the photos of the living room at Chickadee Nest.The transformation is remarkable!
Better yet, my husband, daughter and I I did a lot of the work ourselves. We bought the house in January of 2020. When the world was in experiencing insane turmoil due to onset of Covid, we stayed incredibly busy ripping out old things, sanding, caulking holes, painting, laying new flooring and more. I listened to 25 novels during all of the work to further distract my mind. Thankfully, my dad is a building contractor so he orchestrated electricians, plumbers, heating and airmen and carpenters also help out.
The compliments from guests never get old. My favorite most recent review from Taylor said, “This (house) is one of the coziest places I have ever stayed! Rebecca is not only incredibly communicative, but also detail oriented with a focus on guest’s experiences…The house is in a great location near a beautiful lake and the house itself is straight out of a fairy tale!”
