​This big wooden theater is such a cool, unique, and authentic local spot. Every single actor on that stage is a local, giving the entire performance an incredible hometown flavor that you just won't find anywhere else. We go there every single time we're in town, and we've truly never had a bad experience—every show is wonderful!

It must be that time of the year! 🍂 If you've ever heard those wild, haunting calls echoing through the mountains, you are listening to the elk rut—the annual autumn mating season.

​During this time, majestic bull elk show off and bugle to communicate and establish their territory. Hearing those incredible calls across the crisp Blue Ridge valleys is an absolute thrill. The wildest part? We've seen this big guy and others right in the middle of Maggie Valley—just a quick 10-minute drive down the mountain! Nature is truly something else. 🌲🦌
