Another great hike today. About an hour drive from the cabin. Max Patch Trail. Very close to TN line and a 360° view from the Summit. Oh, and by the way... it's easy, with beautiful views and scenery to get to the trail.

To update everyone: Hurricane Helene was a bad storm and did a lot of damage to Western North Carolina. Our home and our Cozy Cabins are o.k.
We have no power and since we are on a well we have no water and no internet. We are more fortunate than most folks. If you have a reservation with us for October we will be contacting you personally regarding your stay.
Please pray for the folks in Asheville and Hendersonville as they experienced disastrous flooding. Also pray for Florida and all that were in the path.

While staying at one of our cabins and if you are up for a convenient, easy, and close by walking trail the Haywood Community College offers several trails. They also have a very nice disc golf course. All this within approx 6 miles from the cabins.
