We are thrilled to share some exciting news—all 46 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Haywood County are now OPEN!

The stretch from Devil’s Courthouse to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, including Devil’s Courthouse Trail, has reopened. Over 85 miles of Parkway from Asheville through Haywood to Cherokee are fully accessible once again.

Just in time to catch the first blushes of fall leaves, the Blue Ridge Mountains are back.

That is, the scenic mountain views along the Blue Ridge Parkway are back, which have been inaccessible south of Asheville for almost a year after Tropical Storm Helene's devastation.
