Fall is always a beautiful time of year in the mountains! 🍁 While there have been areas severely damaged by Hurricane Helene, there are also many areas that are open and accessible. Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee are just a few of the towns with restaurants and shops open. All great options for relaxing and recharging this fall!

These towns rely on visitors to help the economy. As people are unsure and cancel their vacations, businesses struggle. Please be respectful of the communities still being dug out and needing basic resources. However, consider keeping your reservation or booking a trip to areas that are ready to bounce back. Places are usually full this time of year, but many rentals now have openings. These towns aren't wanting to be avoided; they are begging you to come. ❤️

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those who were affected. Tourism is a big part of these communities.
