Enjoy wooded North Carolina mountain views from the 8’ x 50’ covered porch which has rocking chairs, a swing, a hammock, and a table and chairs for your comfort and enjoyment. The large 10’ x 24’ deck adjoins the front of the house with a view of the man-made waterfall, and features a gas grill. The year round rental cabin is available with competitive daily, weekly, and monthly rates. The community area includes a pond with ducks and fish, a picnic area with table and grill, volleyball nets, and a treehouse.

Happy 2020!!! Thank you for 14 awesome years of renting our NC home. It has been such a great run and we've met some wonderful friends. We are taking bookings up until July 20, 2020, and then we are moving to the cabin. We are so excited to start our "next chapter" in NC. We wish you and yours all the best in the New Year/Decade. 💖

We've seen 2 little bunnies every night this trip. So cute! We also spotted a herd of elk on our way up to the cabin. It's been in the 60s -70s and we've enjoyed every minute of it. Always hard to leave this special town and home...….

Lots of improvements and upgrades at Cataloochee Mountain Cabin this month….. Gary has stained the entire house and decks. It looks amazing! He gave the spare bathroom a serious facelift and we bought 2 new leather reclining couches. Come check it out!

While we've never seen a snake up here, it's the woods- we know they're there. This morning while doing maintenance under the house I found this skin. 5 1/2' long! Wow!
*Not sure what kind yet, but due to the narrow head size, I'm guessing it's a good one*
