Join us for an afternoon inspired by art, creativity, and slowing down. Enjoy seasonal pastries, finger sandwiches, bubbly, and bottomless tea in the cozy atmosphere of the inn.

The unofficial start to summer is here ☀️
Summer on the farm is something special.

Fresh-cut flowers from the garden. Juicy tomatoes picked in the sunshine. A glass of wine on the porch as the sun sets. Fireflies dancing across the fields after dark.

We can’t wait for the season ahead, come spend it with us.

High Noon Tea Series: Artist’s Tea
Saturday, May 30 • 12 PM - 2 PM

Three artists. Three mediums. One porch 🎨

Spend two unhurried hours with the artists behind the work — the hands that shape clay, stitch fabric, and bring paper to life.

Featuring:
• Leo Monahan (paper)
A late-in-life artist who created vivid, sculptural works. Leo passed away recently at 92, and his work lives on here at the inn. This afternoon includes a special moment honoring his life and legacy

• Helen Brown (clay)
A Weaverville potter who creates colorful, functional pieces full of personality

• Kathie Briggs (textile)
A local textile artist who paints with fabric and thread, creating nature-inspired pieces.

Alongside the art:
• Loose-leaf tea from
• Seasonal pastries and finger sandwiches
• A glass of bubbly
• A Tea & Bloom Bundle to take home, featuring a handmade gift from , local tea from Cornerstone Tea Company, and a keepsake card

Sherry Masters of Art Connections curated the afternoon — a tribute to the late Leo Monahan (whose paper sculptures hang throughout the inn), with Weaverville potter Helen Brown and textile artist Kathie Briggs both joining us in person.
Cornerstone Tea, seasonal pastries, finger sandwiches, and a glass of bubbly.
