We have a wedding in full swing. A group of people standing in front of the microbus asked if I could take a photo. I asked them to get in. I held my hand up high and pushed the button a couple times without even seeing what it looked like. Got this shot. Not too hard when you have beautiful people and a beautiful setting.

Hey y’all! Come on out tonight, Aug 6th, and catch Tallboys AVL
The Creek Lounge will be open 5-9 and the band will start around 5:30. We will be open rain or shine and will have the band set up under the big tent if it is raining.
Smasheville will be on site serving up the best burgers in Asheville!

Wow, what a difference two days makes!! The water has receded, we picked up all of the branches and it’s almost like it never happened. Weather in WNC is super unpredictable!

Charlene and I were having a lovely date night at Golden Hour tonight when all the phones in the restaurant went off with a tornado warning. Upon further “weather app” investigation, it was heading right for Junebug. We cancelled our orders (downed our cocktails) and headed back in the driving rain. Couldn’t make it because of a tree down on our road. We crossed this creek in Charlene’s car and got the hammocks out 10 minutes before this happened. Good news….we weathered this one pretty well. It helped being tucked in the valley. p.s. We’ll have it all cleaned up for Music night this Thursday.
