The pictures don’t do this justice. Leslie used bright, fluorescent polka dot and striped fabrics for this bear paw quilt. It just screamed for the bubbles edge to edge design. Solid design choice, (though an ironic word choice - “solid” when referring to bubbles). Cool Gray 3 Glide/Glide 60 blended beautifully with it.

This patriotic quilt, also made by Cathy, I quilted in Pacific Blue Glide/Glide 60 thread using the Star Spangled Banner Repeatable E2E quilting design by Wildflower Quilting. With the busyness of the fabric, it’s hard to see the pattern, even on the close up.

Cathy has made several quilts of this pattern and wanted this quilted in the same way. Starlet from Urban Elementz it is, using Light Gray Glide thread on the top and Light Blue Bottom Line on the back.

Wow, Mary Ellen! Well done on this quilt top. I know it was a long time in the making and is amazing. The pattern is Star Splitter by Victoria Findlay Wolfe. Quilting e2e is called Bright Lights and thread is Cornflower Glide on the top and Cream Glide 60 on the back.

Dorothy’s Dinosaur quilt. As I hunted for the best pattern to quilt on this, I went looking beyond my current collection, because, wouldn’t dinosaurs (which o didn’t have) look cute on this one? I found one I liked and bought it. I personally love the quilting on this. It just makes me happy. Thread is Glide/Glide 60 mocha. As always, Dorothy used the leftover fabric to make a scrappy back.

This quilt by Dorothy, destination yet unknown, makes me think of a rustic cabin in the woods or mountains. Scrappy back. I quilted it in mocha Glide/Glide 60 thread using the Zing E2E from Urban Elementz.

This pretty quilt by Ruth is one I had some fun with - hand guided and rulers. I had quilted another embroidery sampler quilt for her and she wanted similar quilting, but the layout was different enough that identical quilting would not work. I used the same designs and added a few more so I that each of the background fills were different. My only regret is that with the invisible MonoPoly thread I used on the front, the light turquoise MicroQuilter thread on the back, and the busy fabric, you can’t see all the fun designs in the photos.

Charity quilt I quilted for my guild. Whoever made the top drew markings in pencil where the quilting should go. Even after repeated washings the markings did not come out, so instead of doing my own design, I more or less followed what was written in the white areas. Then I did the rest to coordinate. White Glide thread, ruler and freehand quilting.

Beautiful quilt made by Mary Ellen. I quilted it in Linen Glide thread in a Baptist Fan design.

Another quilt Dorothy made with a fun scrappy back. I love the USA map panel. I quilted it with an edge to edge I designed, and learned something I would do to alter the pattern. Don’t get me wrong, I like the way it looks. But, rather than doing one row at a time, I’d like to change it to do multiple rows at a time. Some day. Not today.
