COZY POND APPRECIATION PAGE
We can’t go another week without showing our appreciation to so many people.
*Thank you to all who have offered to help during Joe’s recent surgery and
recuperation (and throughout the summer).
*Thank you Bill for putting up the new signs. (Please follow the one way signs
especially, and golf cart drivers watch your speed!).
*Thank you Ken for running a very successful and enjoyable cardboard boat race.
*Thank you Mike for letting us use your connections to Santa over the last several years.
*Thank you Stacey for stopping two teenagers from hanging onto (and bending)
the new basketball hoop at the pool.
*Thank you Michelle (and guest callers) for volunteering almost every Saturday
night to call Bingo and keeping it interesting (and acquiring guest Bingo callers,
Audrey, Ken, Kim, and ?).
*Thank you Tom for giving up precious weekend time using your fabulous DJ skills and
entertaining us during our dances.
*Thank you Joyce who has helped us to buy new items for the campground
through donating lovely crafts to raffle.
*Thank you to MaryAnn for her wonderful craft sessions and always offering her
help.
*Thank you Butch for trying to keep up with all the mowing, cleaning of sites
and fireplaces, delivering wood, mulch, and stone, filling propane, fixing roads
after heavy rains, and any maintenance issues that arise. (We wish him well
during his upcoming surgery.)
*Thank you to those who understand that the blades on our mower get ruined if
they are set too low due to the uneven ground, and so mow their grass lower
themselves.
*Thank you Sandy and Ken who are doing a wonderful job keeping the
bathhouse spotless on the weekends and to Butch during the week.
*Thank you Marc and Tina who are always willing to help us at a moment’s
notice and especially for cleaning the pool filters.
*Thank you to all who helped move and build the new horseshoe area.
*Thank you to Diane who keeps the laundry room clean and along with Devin,
always give their help with slip and slide on Saturdays.
*Thank you Dick for helping with various projects around the campground.
*Thank you Gary for your expertise in all matters electrical and to Kim for your plumbing
expertise.
*Thank you to all who help on Saturdays (and holiday weekends) to serve ice
cream or help with any activities including the slip and slide.
*Thank you to all who decorate their sites during theme weekends and
participate in weekend activities.
*Thank you to our wonderful staff who are always dependable, friendly, and
courteous, and willing to work at a moment’s notice, no matter how crazy busy it gets.
*Thank you all for making Cozy Pond your second home.
*Hopefully I haven’t missed anyone. THANK YOU in case I did.
**A special thank you to all our friends who volunteer every weekend not only
helping with crafts, wagon rides, serving ice cream (or popcorn and snow cones), planning
events, and helping with anything that may arise, but especially for feeding us dinner
on the weekends! We can always count on them!
