STATE STREET MOTEL & BO’S BARN ARE TEAMING UP AGAIN FOR AN IMPORTANT CAUSE!
We are proud to come together once again to support ROSE Advocates and their 29th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction!
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this is a cause that deserves our community’s support. ROSE Advocates provides vital services to victims of abuse, and we are honored to contribute to their auction.
Together, we can make a difference!
Join us for an evening of great food, raffles, a silent auction, and, most importantly, a chance to support those who need it most.

Look what made its way home to State Street Motel!

We are so proud to officially display our 2026 Fiddle Week Best Dressed Business Award!

We went ALL OUT for our 1950s Fiddle Week theme this year. Inside, outside, the lobby, the grounds, the decorations, the outfits — we wanted the whole motel to feel like it had taken a trip back in time.

Our crew put a tremendous amount of work, creativity, and heart into making it happen, and seeing everyone enjoy it made every bit of that work worth it.

And we definitely weren’t doing it alone! Bo’s Barn was right there with us, joining in on the fun and helping make our little corner of State Street something special. We truly couldn’t ask for better neighbors. We appreciate them more than they probably know, and we’re pretty lucky to have the best neighbors ever right next door.

One of the coolest parts of all of this is that months later, we still have returning guests come in and talk about our Fiddle Week decorations and how much they loved what we did. That means just as much to us as seeing our name on this plaque.

Fiddle Week is such a special part of Weiser. Our town comes alive, visitors arrive from all over, businesses have fun with it, and our community gets a chance to show off a little of what makes Weiser, Weiser.

So thank you to everyone who stopped by, took pictures, complimented the decorations, laughed with us, supported our little motel and cheered us on. And a huge thank you to our State Street Motel crew and our wonderful neighbors at Bo’s Barn for helping bring our 1950s vision to life.

Our plaque now has its place in the lobby, and we’re pretty darn proud to see:

A very special thank you to Christy at Butterfield Forge!

Our State Street Motel placemats have become a little bit of a hit — apparently enough of a hit that one of our guests loved one so much it accidentally went home with them! So, of course, we needed another round.

Christy at Butterfield Forge came through for us once again, and as always, she did an awesome job. We’ve known Christy personally for quite some time, and we can tell you firsthand that she puts so much care into what she creates. She’s talented, dependable, creative, and just an all-around wonderful person to work with.

These placemats are such a fun little touch for our motel, and we love that they were made right here by someone in our own community.

This is beautiful!!

Four years ago today, I was lucky enough to witness one of those mornings that stays with you. A quiet sunrise, a lone moose wading through the water, and the sky putting on a show behind her. No grand plans, no perfect setup, just being in the right place at the right moment. Some mornings become memories before you even realize how much you’ll treasure them.

A little fall refresh at State Street Motel!

Now that the seasons are starting to change, we’ve been switching out some of our summer flowers and bringing in our beautiful fall mums. I was looking around today and couldn’t help but appreciate just how beautiful everything has grown and filled out this year.

A huge thank you to Rustic Nursery Ranch for our adorable green penguins and so many of the beautiful plants that have helped brighten up our motel this season. Just look at those colors! Some of these plants have absolutely taken off, and I love seeing how gorgeous they’ve become.

We take a lot of pride in all the little touches around State Street Motel. Now we’re ready to welcome fall with some beautiful mums and a whole new splash of seasonal color!

As the weather starts to change, we’re starting to switch out some of our flowers at the State Street Motel.

These still have some life and beauty left in them, and rather than throw them away, we’d love for members of our community to take them home and enjoy them!

They are FREE — come grab one while they last!

You can find them on the round glass table by the Come And Get It Chuck Wagon.

Please help yourself, Weiser! We’d much rather see these flowers go to a new home than go to waste.

Sometimes it’s the little things that remind you why you work so hard.

Today, a guest told me that someone here in our community told him that State Street Motel was the place to stay when coming to Weiser.

I can’t even explain how good that felt to hear.

We’ve put so much time, work and heart into improving this little motel and making it a place where people feel comfortable, welcomed and at home. There’s always more to do and always something we can improve, but moments like this make you stop and realize how far we’ve come.

To know that someone in our own community recommended us means more than they probably realize.

Thank you, Weiser, for recommending us. We truly appreciate your support and your trust in sending people our way.

We’ll keep working hard, improving every day, and doing our best to make every guest feel at home.

P.S. — Can you believe a guest actually swiped one of our placemats? Apparently they’re a hot commodity! I have to admit, they are pretty cute, and I probably should’ve had more made. Butterfield Forge is our go-to for our custom placemats, so it looks like I’ll be getting ahold of Christy soon!

I guess we’ll take it as a compliment… but please leave the placemats for the next guest.

State Street Motel is looking for a dependable, hardworking housekeeper to join our team!

This is a part-time position, mostly weekdays, with some weekends and holidays as needed.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, honest, trustworthy, and a true team player. Most importantly, we want someone who takes pride in doing a great job and wants to help us keep the positive momentum going at State Street Motel.

We work hard, help each other out, and have some fun along the way!
