The winter that won't quit!! We have never seen as much snow on Cape Cod. A friend has been out 30 times with his cross country skis. The marshes and waterfront are MAGICAL nordic trails.

Dinner at the Boulangerie in Wellfleet is always festive and delicious. Each meal is served as if you were the most important person in the room. The staff are very well trained and know the food and wines well. Philippe is a kind and generous owner/chef and thank you for bringing such a treasure to Wellfleet!

Wellfleet isn't in quite the deep freeze the rest of the country is - a balmy 16 F - but regardless, its enough to make you look forward to summer vacation! Wes' knee had an unfortunate run-in with a strep/staph bacteria and the knee (and Wes) had to spend a couple of days at Cape Cod Hospital - here is the view of a frosty Barnstable Harbor from the window; the view is the only thing nice about being in a hospital but the knee has turned the corner.
