Nearly four decades ago, Sea Mist opened its doors for the first time. The ocean was the same. The beach was the same. And the feeling you got pulling into Wells for the summer? That hasn’t changed either.

We’re a family-run motel on the Maine coast, and we’ve never tried to be anything more than exactly what you need. Clean rooms, a warm pool, and a beach that makes you forget what day it is.

Some of our guests have been coming back since the beginning. Their kids grew up staying here. Now their kids’ kids are showing up. That’s the kind of thing you don’t plan, that’s something that you earn.
