What an incredible experience for everyone!

It has been an exciting summer so far for many youths with disabilities around the state, who are participating in the Summer Work Experience Program. This paid work experience is part of the Pre-Employment Transition Services offered through MDOL's Bureau of Rehabilitation Services. It is a great way for these students to gain experience, get paid, and have fun!

Yesterday, Commissioner Laura Fortman and Bureau of Rehabilitation Services Director Karen Fraser visited the students working at Wells-Ogunquit Resort Motel & Cottages! These hard working youth are learning a variety of skills as they assist around the resort, from laundry and cleaning rooms to landscaping.
