~Winter 2025-2026 Expected Snowfall~

Even though it is warm and dry now, the pattern will dramatically change later in November but especially December. The only eye-opening expected snowfall is in the southern portions of the region. Significant arctic blasts this winter is expected to bring above average snow, as much as a foot above average south of I-80. Lake effect season is expected to be significant again this winter with many areas picking up over 200", especially along Lake Superior. Colorado Lows will likely be the systems to watch this winter to bring heavy snow in the Midwest.
