Thank you to everyone who joined the Chamber Policy Coalition for this year's Legislative Wrap Up Breakfast! It was a valuable opportunity for business owners, professionals, and community leaders from across St. Charles County to hear directly from our State Representatives about the issues, legislation, and priorities impacting our region.

LINC St. Charles County's mission is to provide support and direction for disadvantaged families and individuals in the community, helping them to set goals and objectives that will empower them to become productive citizens within the community. LINC takes a comprehensive, wholistic approach to meeting physical, educational, social, and spiritual needs. A variety of programs are employed to accomplish their mission. Emergency assistance programs aid in the prevention of homelessness. Educational and vocational programs are available to enhance soft and hard job skills. The daycare is available to single-income families meeting income guidelines. Recreational programs help encourage healthy bodies as well as healthy lifestyles and relationships. Their “3-R’s” are the development of Relationships, Responsibility, and Respect.

Kid's Academy of Wentzville uses a developmentally appropriate curriculum, based on each child's age and developmental level. Children are given the opportunity to experiment, measure, observe, classify, problem solve, be creative, and interact with children and adults in a positive and satisfying manner. Their Center's programs are designed to provide a rich, warm, supportive environment where the child may develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Their educational objectives are based on their knowledge of children and the way they develop. Staff use a developmentally appropriate curriculum, based on each child’s age and developmental level.

Since 1987, Pathways to Independence has been helping adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other associated challenges develop the social, communication, and life skills needed to build meaningful relationships and thrive in their communities. Through educational programs, community-based activities, and personalized support, Pathways empowers participants to gain confidence, develop friendships, strengthen workplace skills, and increase their independence. Their mission goes far beyond teaching skills; they help individuals find connection, belonging, and opportunities to succeed in everyday life.
