Are you going to be visiting Key West with your dog(s)? Don’t miss out on Dog Beach!!!

Dog Beach in Key West, located at the intersection of Vernon and Waddell Avenue near the Louie's Backyard, is a small, sandy spot famous as the only true off-leash beach in the area. It serves as a popular social hub for both locals and tourists with pets to swim and play in the water, particularly in the late afternoon.

The beach was established as a specifically designated, pet-friendly coastal area to accommodate the high number of pet owners visiting and living on the island. It is a small, rocky, and sandy spot that offers easy access to the water, allowing dogs to swim and play in the surf.

It is known as a popular late-afternoon spot, often crowded with locals and tourists alike. While not a "park" in the traditional sense, it is located near other pet-friendly locations in Key West. Let your best-friend loose and make some friends!

•Are you rich bc of commas or because of time?
•Do you feel free in the Land of Freedom?

There’s something special about a peaceful Carolina sunset from the “Edge of America” at the washout on Folly Beach SC.

Folly Island, SC, originally known as "Coffin Land" and named for its dense foliage (Old English "folly"), has evolved from a 17th-century, remote, pirate-friendly location into a renowned 20th-century beach destination known as the "Edge of America". Key historical points include its role as a crucial Union army base during the Civil War, a summer retreat for composer George Gershwin, and a popular, laid-back coastal community.

The island was granted to William Rivers by King William III on September 9, 1696. The island was for a time known as Coffin Land, named for the family that owned it, or for the practice of dumping quarantined, diseased, or deceased sailors there before they entered Charleston harbor.

The name "Folly" derives from the Old English term for a dense thicket of trees and undergrowth. The moniker "Edge of America" was coined by local surf shop owners in the 1990s and has since become the town's primary, registered nickname. Since the 1960s and 70s, Folly has been known for its laid-back, "hippie," and surfing-focused community.
