Nestled in the heart of West Monroe, Lake Latigo Resort is your escape to the outdoors — a one-of-a-kind destination featuring 45 cozy cabins, Duck Boat and Fishing Boat rentals, short-term lodging, and a welcoming General Store. We pride ourselves on offering guests an authentic, memorable experience surrounded by nature, adventure, and Southern hospitality.
As we prepare for our official launch in 2026, we’re looking for an extraordinary leader to help bring our vision to life.
Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee all resort operations — from cabins to rentals to guest services — ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable stay. You’ll manage a small, passionate team (3–4 members during peak seasons), lead community engagement, and be the face of Lake Latigo’s guest experience.
We’re seeking a rock star leader who thrives in dynamic environments, loves the outdoors, and leads with both heart and vision.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day resort operations, including cabins, rentals, general store, and maintenance.
• Lead, train, and inspire a small team, fostering a positive and guest-focused culture.
• Manage guest relations, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Oversee reservations, check-ins, and financial performance.
• Assist in marketing and promotional efforts to grow resort visibility and occupancy.
• Communicate with our support team to ensure the resort grounds and facilities in pristine condition at all times.
• Coordinate with ownership on long-term strategy, revenue growth, and operations planning.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in hospitality, resort, or property management (3+ years preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service mindset — authentic, approachable, and solutions-driven.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Basic financial and administrative proficiency (scheduling, budgeting, reporting).
