A look back at The Thayer in 1945–1947! 🕰️✨ During these years, a new wing opened for cadets’ dates, with dormitory rooms available for just $2 a night!

Known as the dormitory for the “Femmes,” the space included dressing rooms, ironing boards, and a chaperone hostess. Cadets could bring their dates, or “Drags,” to the Cadet Soda Bar.
