Our cozy cabin in the hills of southern Vermont still has some rental availability in March!

If you are a skier, March means longer and warmer days on the slopes, fresh snow (March is historically Vermont’s snowiest month), and spring deals and events at the mountains.

Not a skier? Not a problem, there is still plenty to do - like hiking, sledding, shopping, dining, exploring, and more. Our cabin is away-from-it all yet close to so much, and we love sharing the inside scoop about fun stuff to do and cool places to go with our guests.

And, of course, if you just want to sit by the wood stove with a glass of wine, bowl of popcorn, and a good book, there’s that too!

Elizabeth and her friends spent two days skiing at Killington and Stratton and loved our recommendation to dine at The Barn Restaurant & Tavern in beautiful Pawlet, VT. They were wonderful guests!!

We still have a couple short midweek stays available in January and February (sorry, weekends are full) and we are already receiving bookings for March into the summer.

Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall - we are blessed to enjoy Merck Forest & Farmland basically right in our backyard. Over 3,200 acres of land and 30 miles of trails to enjoy. Deep serene woods, upland meadows, spectacular scenic views. Visitor center, sustainable working farm, educational and cultural programs and more. A visit to Merck is a must during any stay, any season!

ATTENTION SKI BUMS!! Our cabin is located just 23 miles to Bromley and 33 miles to Stratton - a beautiful and easy 35-50 minute drive. OUR STORY

Seven years ago, Traci and I happened upon a small cabin in the woods of southern Vermont.

The cabin was rundown and in disrepair. It had no running water, plumbing, bathroom, or kitchen. It’s sheetrock walls were crumbling and moldy insulation hung from the ceiling. The property was overgrown, the roof leaked, and the mice had made themselves at home.

Needless to say we fell in love with it!

Fast forward, and after so many wonderful family stays spent roughing it in our rustic cabin, we’ve finally completed extensive renovations and are now excited to share our “Home In The Hollow” with others as a vacation rental beginning in January 2022.

There’s so much to do in the area - you can hike, ski, shop, dine, golf, swim, antique, fish, explore, etc. Of course you can also choose to relax and do nothing at all!

Our cabin home is away from it all on 10 acres in a beautifully rural and pastoral part of the world - yet also close and convenient to all that the Southern Vermont and Eastern New York region has to offer.
