Our beautiful, 15 plus acre park is nestled on the shores of Lake Tawakoni. The Park is located just north of highway 276 in the middle of town. The park hours of operation are sunrise to sunset daily, with quiet time from 10:00pm to 6:00am for those staying in the park over night. There are 4 pavilions with picnic tables and grills at each site. In addition, the pavilions can be rented out for ou
tdoor activities, such as weddings, reunions, and birthdays. Just about anything you can imagine as an outdoor activity could be a fun time at West Tawakoni City Park. There are numerous picnic tables spread through out the rest of the park. We have space set up for: volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer and horseshoe pits. A play area for the kids is located where a close eye can be kept on the them as they play. We also have a boat launch and tent camping sites available, along with a fabulous beach area for record catfish and bass fishing, or swimming. A life guard is not in attendance at any time. We have bathrooms in the main park with shower access and regular bathrooms also set up on the point. We have RV space with full hookups available or you can rent one of the parks fully accommodated RVs. In the front of the park is a special memorial to all of our veterans.
