One of the questions we get all the time: “Are there trails near you?”

Absolutely.

Kirkwood Trailhead is just down the road, with access into the Custer Gallatin National Forest and plenty of Montana to explore.

And hiking is only part of it. Across from Terra Nova, you can get out on Hebgen Lake from Kirkwood Marina for boating, kayaking and other days on the water or head out and explore Hebgen Lake, the Madison River and Quake Lake.

Yellowstone may bring you here. There’s a lot more waiting outside the park.
