Season is imminent and still no staff. Thank you, Federal and State government. If any locals want a fun job at the beach, can do manual labor and work independently, full or part time, please call 401.954.9204. Mornings are imperative. We get well intentioned offers from guests each year, but employees must be within commuting distance. Unfortunately we cannot offer transportation nor housing. Here comes summer!!!

We've received numerous calls and emails regarding the Black Friday Deal we've offered for many years. Unfortunately we will not be offering it again this year. Last season was so difficult operating with virtually no staff at all, we simply aren't willing to take that risk again. Thank you to all who participated in this promotion in the past. This is what happens every single day behind the Sea Shell Motel: the sun rises at the other end of the pond. It's not always visible and the water is not always calm, but it happens. I have a growing collection of sunrise videos, improving my technique as I go. Next project is a sunset series which I will film from a spot just off Atlantic Avenue. At least I won't have to wake up extra early to catch those!
