Anyone out there want to purchase a 2024 raffle ticket? Several of my friends have won in previous years after buying my tickets.

The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge I belong to holds a raffle and has been doing so for 41 years. Daily prizes of $25, monthly $200 prizes, and first through fifth place annual prizes. Winnings are mailed monthly.

And get this: If you win, your ticket gets tossed back into the bucket and has a chance to win for you again (and again, and again, and…).

Tickets are $20. I have 80 tickets and can get more, but I cannot get certain numbers. Whatever I get, you’ll get.

Seeking another Amphicar memory. Can anyone help?

Hi, my name is Peter, and my wife turns 60 yrs. old this weekend (June 3). She has always talked about how cool it was when she was a young girl and saw an Amphicar (she did not know what it was at the time) come to a park she was at with her family one day when “this car just drove into the lake and kept going!” She loves that memory and as a car guy myself (I have a 64 Lincoln Continental convertible) I understand that!

I would love to give her a gift of that memory by going for a ride in one these beloved cars. I would be happy to pay someone for their time, travel, and effort. We live in Holland, MI on Lake Macatawa and we saw one here on the water several years ago before we lived here, I was told he passed sometime last year. I have said all this this to see if you could connect me with some either here in Holland, MI (which is just outside Grand Rapids, MI) or even an hour or so away that we could drive to see and go in the water on one. Any time as soon as this weekend or over the next two or three weeks would be awesome!
