Getting those last few river floats in before it gets too cold.
Did you know that the Chauga River is fed by multiple springs and maintains a relatively cool temperature year round between approximately 67-70 degrees. Fresh springs and rivers do not warm up like lakes. Even on extremly hot days, although refreshing, the water feels chilly when you first get in. The end of summer is quickly approaching!

Spring is here and we are excited to share another season with our TRIBE!

“Eloheh” (pronounced Ay-luh-hay) is a Cherokee Indian word meaning harmony, wholeness, abundance and peace.

More than forty-five Indigenous tribes and nations hold these ten values in common; harmony, respect, accountability, history, humor, authenticity, equality, friendship, generosity, and balance.

Life is about the connections we make with nature and others. Sometimes people place obstacles in our paths in an attempt to upset our Eloheh. By striving to live our lives with these ten values while incorporating Eloheh, we can leave this world behind better than we found it.

Don’t ever let anyone steal your Eloheh! Choose peace and nature will always find a way to shine upon your life.
