Bigfoot Wilderness Lodge is a vacation home with over 2500' of frontage on the Sturgeon River and 7 acres surrounded by the National Forest. Located near Munising and in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We are just a short drive to Lake Superior, 17 waterfalls, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi and scenic route H-58. Enjoy year round activities right from the

door step that include snowmobiling, SxS and ORV riding, motorcycle routes, fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain, fat tire biking, canoe, kayak, or just relax and enjoy the view right from the lodge. Who knows, you might even get the opportunity to get a glimpse of Bigfoot too! Lodge amenities include three bedrooms “two private bedrooms with memory foam log queen beds and a third bedroom with a full over full log bunkbed.” One additional twin mattress is available upon request. One full size bathroom with on demand hot water and laundry area. All towels and bedding provided. Fully stocked kitchen that includes all cookware, tableware, coffee maker, toaster, blender, fridge, microwave, gas stove and necessary essentials. Wood stove with fire wood, wifi, 55" smart tv, furnace for heat, and central air. Outdoor amenities include deck overlooking the Sturgeon River and Hiawatha National Forest with views for the perfect sunrise or sunset. webber gas grill, webber charcoal grill, fire pit and parking for multiple vehicles and large trailers for your winter or summer toys. Instead of the Upside Down, these kids are dealing with the real Michigan threats. Bigfoot roaming the UP. The Mackinac Bridge looking ominous in the background. A lighthouse because we have more lighthouses than any other state and at least one of them is definitely haunted. The northern lights making an appearance because why not, Michigan does everything.

The Red Wings hat is a nice touch because even in supernatural scenarios, we're representing. The "Up North" trucker hat is absolutely essential because if you're from Michigan, you either are up north, going up north, or wishing you were up north. There is no in-between.
That Trans Am screams 1980s Michigan so hard you can practically hear the Bob Seger playing. And of course there's a snowmobile because that's basically required transportation from November to April in half the state.
The real monsters in this version aren't demogorgons, they're potholes, lake effect snow, and people who don't use their turn signals. The kids aren't fighting interdimensional creatures, they're trying to survive a Michigan winter with only Faygo and a pasty to sustain them.
Vernors for when someone gets hurt because that's apparently medicine in Michigan. Bell's Two Hearted because Michigan craft beer is serious business. Tim Hortons coffee because we claimed that as ours. And Jets Pizza because it's objectively superior and anyone who disagrees can leave.
Season one is just them trying to find a road without construction. Spoiler alert: they never do.
