We’ve got a good one lined up for you this weekend at Lien’s Lakeside!

THURSDAY — Steak Melt 🥩
Seasoned steak topped with melted cheese and smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. A classic comfort-food kind of Thursday!

FRIDAY — Fish or Shrimp 🐟🍤
Choose our Friday fish sandwich or shrimp basket, served with fries and your choice of coleslaw or cottage cheese.

SATURDAY — Poblano Bacon Chicken Melt🌶️🔥
Grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, melted cheese and smothered in creamy poblano (mild) cheese sauce, all piled onto toasted sourdough. This one is going to be GOOD!

SUNDAY — Country Fried Chicken Sandwich 🍗
Crispy country fried chicken, lettuce and mayo on a toasted bun. Simple, crispy and delicious!

We’re opening at 3 PM and bringing back a fan favorite! A juicy hamburger topped with blue cheese crumbles, melted cheese, crispy bacon and finished with our house-made steak aioli. YUM. 🤤

🐟 FRIDAY — Fish or Shrimp
Stop in for our always-popular fish sandwich or shrimp basket special. A Lien’s Lakeside favorite for a reason!

🤠 SATURDAY — Rodeo Burger
We’re heading south for this one! A cheeseburger topped with bacon, our fan-favorite onion rings and creamy BBQ sauce. Want a little kick? Add jalapeños — or leave ’em off. Your choice!

🍄 SUNDAY — Garlic Portobello Burger
Finishing the weekend strong! A cheeseburger topped with deep-fried portobello mushroom fries and smothered in our garlic aioli. Your taste buds will thank you. 😋

🔥 THURSDAY — Pizza Burger
We’re trying something new with our version of a pizza burger! 🍕🍔

A juicy cheeseburger topped with a deep-fried mozzarella plank, smothered in marinara, and piled onto a bun.

Basically, an Italian mobster walked into a burger joint and said, “Forget about the pasta… give me the bun.” 😂🇮🇹

It’s cheesy. We know. And we’re not sorry. 🤌🧀

🐟 FRIDAY — Fish & Shrimp
It’s Friday, so you know the drill! Our always-popular fish sandwich or shrimp dinner, served with fries and your choice of coleslaw or cottage cheese.

🍕 SATURDAY — Appetizers & Pizza
The kitchen will be closed Saturday, but don’t fret! We’ll still have appetizers and pizza coming out all day. 🍕🍻

🥒 SUNDAY — Garlic Pickle Crunch Burger
We’re finishing the weekend with another new burger!

A cheeseburger topped with deep-fried pickle chips (HELLOOOO, crunch! 😍), then drizzled with our favorite garlic aioli.

One year ago today, we became resort owners.

When we took this leap of faith, we had no idea what the year ahead would hold. We packed up our lives, brought our family to a new community, and were welcomed with open arms.

Over the past year, we've learned what it takes to operate a bar and grill, manage a campground, and maintain and improve our cabins. Our kids started a new school, we became self-employed, and we traded the comfort of our old home for the opportunity to build something that we could call ours.

Our biggest challenge came when we experienced the house fire. It tested us in ways we never imagined, but it also reminded us how strong this community truly is. Through every setback, we've continued moving forward with hope, determination, and gratitude.

This year has been filled with challenges, laughter, tears, friendships, love, encouragement, and so much kindness. Every conversation at the bar, every camper who returned, every guest who chose to stay with us, every helping hand, and every word of support has meant more than you'll ever know.

Owning Lien's Lakeside has become so much more than running a business—it's about creating a place where people come together, make memories, and feel like family. Watching kids fishing, families gather around campfires, friends reconnecting over a meal, and neighbors becoming lifelong friends reminds us why we took this chance in the first place.

To everyone who has stopped in for a meal, booked a cabin, camped with us, shared our posts, recommended us to others, offered a helping hand, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You have been part of this journey, and we truly couldn't have done it without you.

Here's to one incredible year, and to many more memories still to come. We can't wait to see what the future holds, and we're so thankful to have all of you along for the ride.
